This skid plate helps protect your 4Runner from unwanted damage that could be caused by rocks, branches, ice chunks, and other debris you may find on the trail or road. We also now will make some modifications to the OEM TRD skid plate to allow fitment on KDSS vehicles! These modifications are cutting the sides so they do not interfere with the KDSS system when installed.

KDSS Installation Notes
- In order to install your KDSS TRD skid plate, you will need to remove the frame support braces that the old factory skid plate was mounted to.
- There is a bolt on each support brace. Remove the bolt and the support brace. Save this hardware because that is what you will be using to mount the new TRD skid plate.
